Roomzic already knows every playlist in your Spotify library. This feature walks through every track, finds its best match on YouTube, and builds a ready-to-play internal queue — useful when you want a Spotify playlist to keep playing without Spotify Premium or Spotify Connect.
Spotify playback in Roomzic requires the host to have a Premium account with an active Spotify Connect device. That's not always available — maybe the host doesn't have Premium, maybe the venue's device isn't signed into the right Spotify account, or maybe the group simply wants to keep a playlist playing on a device without Spotify at all.
Rather than rebuilding a playlist from scratch on another platform, Roomzic can read an existing Spotify playlist and convert it into an internal YouTube queue: every track gets searched on YouTube, matched to its best available video, and queued up in order.
The result plays through Roomzic's embedded YouTube player, using the same suggestion, approval, and voting flow as any other room — guests can keep suggesting new tracks on top of the imported queue.
When creating or configuring a room, Roomzic offers two Spotify modes: classic playback (suggestions sent straight to your Spotify queue) or importing a playlist to YouTube.
Roomzic lists the playlists available on your connected Spotify account.
Title, artist, and album metadata is retrieved for each song in the playlist.

Say you've built a 25-track "birthday party" playlist on Spotify over the years, but the venue's speaker system only has a YouTube-connected TV, not Spotify. Instead of recreating the playlist from memory, you connect Spotify, pick "Import to YouTube," and select that playlist.
Roomzic works through the 25 tracks one at a time, showing progress as it goes ("14 of 25 converted"). Once it's done, the room has a 25-track YouTube queue in the same order as the original playlist, ready to play on the venue's screen — and your guests can start suggesting more songs on top of it right away.
Classic Spotify playback (Mode 1) is the right choice when the host has Spotify Premium and an active Spotify Connect device — it's real-time, and every suggestion goes straight into the actual Spotify queue.
Importing to YouTube (Mode 2) is the right choice when Spotify Premium or Spotify Connect isn't available on the playback device, or when the group specifically wants to play through a YouTube-connected screen or speaker instead.
Once converted, the queue plays through YouTube — no active Spotify Connect device or Premium subscription needed.
